Patsy McGlone (born 8 July 1959) is an Irish politician from Ballinderry in Northern Ireland. He is a Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP) Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly for Mid Ulster, and former Deputy Leader of the SDLP (2010-11).〔(McGlone is new SDLP deputy leader ) Tyrone Times 〕 He has been an MLA since 2003.〔("McGlone set for deputy leadership" ) MidUlster Mail〕 From 1993 to 2009, McGlone was also Councillor in Cookstown District Council. He was chairman of the council in 2002-03 and 2005-06. Patsy was a delegate at talks which led to Good Friday Agreement and was a delegate to Forum of Peace and Reconciliation in December 2002.
